CECA HistoryCompetitive Edge Consulting Associates (CECA) was established in 1988 in Boca Raton, Florida as a general partnership, then incorporated in 1989. Our initial client base included both medium and large size domestic and international companies, primarily in the high-tech segment.

In 1989, CECA provided business development services to Eastern European companies looking to capitalize on new initiatives and developed several new partnerships in the Far East in collaboration with our clients.

In 1993, CECA established a relationship with the IBM Corporation providing a wide array of services locally and nationally. We provided a cadre of technology services including project management, engineering, systems analysis, programming, technical support, testing and sales engineering. In 1998, CECA established an office in Cary, North Carolina providing technical and temporary employment services to Research Triangle Park companies.

True to CECA's capacity to meet market needs, the company expanded to form a New York City office in order to serve small and mid-sized businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals trying to break into the fashion industry. In doing so, CECA extended its service offerings to include marketing, fundraising, business development and fashion services, including workshops and career advising. Today, CECA remains an innovator in the consulting field assisting for-profit companies, non-profit organizations and individuals in reaching their full potential.
